Favorite bedding ever
"I bought my first Modern Dane duvet and pillow shams in the Blälig pattern in 2019 and they have literally been on my bed ever since--I love the pattern so much I don't use any other duvet, and the pillowcases work with all my solid color sheets. A few years later I added in a second set of pillow shams, and that showed me the first set had faded considerably over time, so I have taken care to wash the newer set less frequently and always hang them dry. I am about to replace the duvet cover only because my dog slept on it and left a number of stains on the patterned side; it's gotten pretty faded from washing, but it's still in good shape after 7 years of constant use and I'll probably keep it to use as a backup or for a guest bed. The quality and softness of these linens are top notch; yes, they're expensive, but if you invest in a couple of sets of these sheets you will not need to replace them for a very, very long time. I'm also ordering a set of the white linen sheets to replace a set by another manufacturer that I've worn holes into; very excited to have my entire bed in Modern Dane."

"The smoky purple is perfect for a heteronormative couple. It is great because I love pastels and because it is a smoky purple, it is not very "girly. " We got the matching sheets that are the smoky purple color and it is gorgeous. I sent pictures to my interior design friend and she says it is a beautiful set. Since we switched to Modern Dane linens and away from our organic percale cottons (that I loved personally), my husband sleeps a lot better. It is very breathable for him and he instead of getting up multiple times a night because he was hot - he is able to sleep through the night. Thus, he is less cranky. We have now bought a second duvet set from Modern Dane so that we can have an alternate and are very happy with the bedding and customer service as well. It ships fast to California."
